HURRICANE WATCH: Tropical Depression Eight-E is located over 1,295 miles to the east of Hilo Hawaii. It will move west towards drier and more stable air and as a result it will continue to weaken.
Low pressure 1350 miles miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California has become better organized and should become a tropical depression and perhaps a tropical storm within the next 12-24 hours. All indications are that this evolving tropical cyclone will track through a very favorable environment conducive to further development as it moves northwest during the next several days well away from any major land mass.
Thursday morninglooks smaller but there should be sporadic waist to chest high sets for the better S/SW facing breaks with an occasional larger wave or two every now and then.
