HURRICANE WATCH:Tropical Storm Carlos has maintained its current strength today and has moved very little. The sustained winds remain near 60 mph.
Carlos will slowly strengthen during the next few days and perhaps become a Category 1 hurricane sometime by late Saturday or Sunday. The storm will eventually turn more westerly over the weekend and Carlos will track parallel to the Mexican coast.
This one looks to hug the coast just like Blanca did so the likelihood of So Cal seeing any surf is slim as of todays projections!
By Saturday morning we’ll be left with weak knee to waist high dribble. Some tiny, steep wind swell will be in play for the top West facing breaks but don’t expect much.
