HURRICANE WATCH:All quiet on the Western Front! The remnants of Carlos will bring enhanced rainfall to parts of southwestern Mexico today as it continues to weaken.
Elsewhere in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, there are no other organized tropical features, and none are expected to develop over the next few days.
For Friday morning we’ll continue to be feed a steady diet of small, NW wind swell. It should bump a hair though with the best West facing breaks seeing waist high plus wind peaks with maybe even a few larger waves mixing in.

For Monday morning the NW wind swell will remain a resilient waist high plus and be joined by some inconsistent SW ground swell. The combination spots could see some chest high sets on occasions!

The conditions look pretty good early with 1-2 MPH breezes out of the West until 10AM and 10-12 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp leaps up to 78 degrees on the sand.
Tuesday morning looks about the same with waist high plus NW wind swell from that same steep 310 degree angle for the better West facing beaches. We’ll also see small, sporadic pulses out of the SW in the waist high plus range.
The tide bottoms out at 9:00AM.

The conditions look fair with light and variable breezes out of the SE/SSE in the 1-4 MPH zone until 10AM and 9-11 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp dips to 76 degrees.
The current water temps Newport 66 degrees, Huntington 66 degrees, the South Bay showed as 63 degrees, Santa Monica 62 degrees and Malibu 63 degrees.
