SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 6-27-14
SHARK UPDATE To see the latest shark updates follow us on Facebook Check it out!
Saturday morning might be better than originally expected. The winds in the SB channel are projected to blow between 23 to 30 MPH through this afternoon, (Friday), and all night long. If this scenario does indeed come to fruition, the better West facing breaks should see waist to chest high short interval wind swell for the AM. I’m not making any promises, but you may want to stay on your toes.

The conditions won’t be bad for spots that like a South wind. We’ll see breezes out of the S/SSE in the 3-6 MPH zone until 10AM and then those pick up to 8-11 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp hits the 79 degree mark on the sand.
For Sunday morning we’ll see 6-8 second interval NW wind swell in the waist high plus range from a steep 310 degree angle.
Also in the mix will be some small but punchy SW swell. This energy will have15-17 second intervals from a liberal angle of 220 degrees. This should dish up some nice waist high plus sets for the top spots.

The SW energy will be on a slow fade but still be good for waist high sets.
