Shark Update: Besides the 25 great whites spotted Sunday in San Clemente, there were also new sightings Monday in San Clemente when 20 sharks were seen in the area, including a 10-12′ great white that was reeled in by a fisherman on the pier and allegedly another fisherman reported a shark estimated to be 16-20′ in length, (Holy S#$T that’s Jaws size)!

For Friday morning we’ll see that mild SW energy come to its peak with waist high plus sets for the better West facing breaks from that same 205 degree angle with 14-15 second intervals. Minor NW energy will remain in th ebackground.

For Monday morning we’ll see a bump in size as a new pulse of smallish SW swell rolls into the picture from a 215-220 degree angle with 16-17 second intervals. This should deliver waist high sets for beaches with a look at the SW and chest high sets at the top spots.

For Tuesday morning we’ll see a very slight bump in size as a new pulse of smallish SW swell rolls into the picture from a 200-205 degree angle with 14-16 second intervals. It will be inconsistent in the AM but should have a hair more oomph on Friday. This should deliver sporadic waist high sets for beaches with a look at the SW.
