HURRICANE WATCH November 14, 2014 – The eastern Pacific basin is free of any organized tropical systems at this time, and no development is likely for at least the next 24-48 hours.

For Sunday morning the swell will dip down a bit more and become less consistent, but the better West facing beaches should see chest high plus sets through the morning hours.

The conditions excellent with 5-12 winds out of the NE/NNE all day long, (stronger below passes and canyons). The air temp jumps up to 71 degrees.

For Monday morning we’ll surf in the waist high plus range with a few larger sneaker sets at the most exposed West facing breaks.

The tide is a bit high at first light but will seep out through morning session.

The conditions look great with winds out of the NE in the 6-12 MPH zone until noon and then those get up to a timid 3-6 MPH out of the West for the remainder of the day. The air temp tops out at 74 degrees.

By Tuesday morning we’ll dip back into the waist high zone. A huge morning high tide will likely put the clamps on most spots for the dawn patrol but things should start to improve mid morning.

The conditions look pretty good again with variable winds out of the East in the 2-5 MPH zone until noon and then those get up to 5-8 MPH out of the West later in the day. The air temp tops out at 73 degrees.

The current water temps Newport 65 degrees, Huntington 65 degrees, the South Bay showed as 68 degrees, Santa Monica 66 degrees and Malibu 66 degrees.
