HURRICANE WATCH November 21, 2014 – Nothing brewing out there right now!
______________________________________________________________________________

For Saturday morning there will still be some meat left on the bone as that NW energy continues to dish up fun surf in the chest high plus zone for the best West facing breaks. The swell will be strongest in the AM and continue to fade through the day.

* High morning tides remain a factor.

For Sunday morning it looks like we should see another pulse of NW energy move in and put the better West facing beaches back into chest high zone for the AM and increase into the head high zone by sundown.

This new swell will move in from a steeper 300-310 degree angle with 14-16 second intervals and be a bit more choosey about which beaches it visits, (only the most exposed West facing breaks).

* High morning tides remain a factor.

The conditions should be good as another Santa Ana episode settles in for a few days. We should see winds out of the NE/NNE at 8-10 MPH early, (stronger below passes and canyons), and those pick up to 8-10 MPH out of the West later in the day. The air temp vaults into the low 70’s.

For Monday morning the energy will taper of slightly leaving us with chest high sets at the top breaks. The angle remains a discriminating 305-310 degrees.

For Tuesday morning we’ll another small burst of NW energy. This will move down the line at a steep 300 degree angle with 12-14 second intervals. Top West facing breaks should go chest high plus on the sets.

There’s a subtle tide push for the dawn patrol.
