HURRICANE WATCH: Rick is a weakening tropical depression spinning over the open waters of the Eastern Pacific Ocean. Rick will continue to slowly weaken and become a post-tropical low by as early as tonight or Monday. Some tropical moisture from Rick could get drawn into northwestern Mexico later this week and fuel heavy showers and thunderstorms.

We are watching another feature located a few hundred miles south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec. As this feature continues to move west it will move into a favorable environment for tropical development. There is a high probability that this system will become a tropical depression in the next 24-48 hours.

El None Yo continues into next week with some storm surf on Wednesday into Thursday, (Thanksgiving), but we could see something a bit better for the weekend. Hang tough my friends, it’s only a matter of time until things start to pop for us!
