HURRICANE WATCH November 24, 2014 – Nothing brewing out there right now!
For Tuesday morning we’ll another small burst of NW energy. This will move down the line at a steep 300 degree angle with 12-14 second intervals. Top West facing breaks should go chest high plus on the sets.
There’s a subtle tide push for the dawn patrol.

The conditions look incredible as the Santa Ana winds really kick up their heels and blow to the tune of 5-15 MPH at most spots and much stronger gusts below the passes and canyons. The air temp leaps up to 76 degrees.
For Wednesday morning the surf will be on the fade with the better West facing breaks clocking in at waist to chest high range.
The tides look reasonable for the early morning and the winds remain offshore. Should be another decent day of surf.

The conditions look fantastic for the morning hours with NE winds in the 6-10 MPH zone until noon and those get up to 7-10 MPH, out of the West, in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 78 degrees.
Thanksgiving Thursday morning is looking pretty weak so if you were planning on working up an appetite out in the surf you better hope the Mayflower is sailing back and forth in front of your surf break kicking up some waves to ride. Actually, there should be waist high sets out there for the best West facing beaches.
The better news is that Friday morning should pick up into the head high plus zone, (for West facing breaks), courtesy of some fresh energy out of the NW.
