HURRICANE WATCH November 25, 2014 – Nothing brewing out there right now!
For Wednesday morning the surf will be on the fade with the better West facing breaks clocking in at waist to chest high with a few larger sets sneaking in on occasion.
The tides look reasonable for the early morning and the winds remain offshore. Should be another decent day of surf.

The conditions look fantastic for the morning hours with NE winds in the 4-10 MPH zone until noon and those go rather slack at 4-6 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 79 degrees.
Thanksgiving Thursday morning is looking pretty feeble with waist high surf for the best West facing breaks.

The conditions look good through the morning hours with 3-10 MPH breezes out of the NE/NNE at 2-10 MPH until noon and then go West at 2-5 MPH into the afternoon. The air temp tops out at a toasty 80 degrees.
For Friday morning we’ll see some fresh W/NW energy build in through the day. This swell will roll in from a Westerly 275-280 degree angle with 12-14 second intervals. Top West facing breaks should go waist to chest high in the early AM and get up to a couple feet overhead by days end.
With this Westerly swell angle the waves should get into any spot with a peek at the West.

The conditions look incredible as the Santa Ana winds really kick up their heels and blow to the tune of 5-15 MPH at most spots and much stronger gusts below the passes and canyons. The air temp dips to 74 degrees.
For Saturday morning the swell should hold with continued head high to overhead sets at the top West facing beaches.

The conditions look pretty good again for the AM with variable winds out of the East at 2-4 MPH until noon and mild breezes out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp dips to 68 degrees.
For Sunday morning that Westerly swell will be winding down through the day. The morning will have the most size with chest high plus sets at the top spots.

The conditions look interesting with stiff winds out of the E/SE/SSE in the 8-15 MPH zone all day long. There is a 20% chance of rain and the air temp dips to 66 degrees.
The current water temps Newport 67 degrees, Huntington 65 degrees, the South Bay showed as 64 degrees, Santa Monica 63 degrees and Malibu 64 degrees.
