HURRICANE WATCH 11-27-13

The Eastern Pacific Basin is expected to remain quiet for at least the next couple of days.
______________________________________________________________________________

Thursday morning, THANKSGIVING, looks better than we had originally anticipated with some fresh 275-290 degree, 16-18 second ground swell filling in through the day. The best West facing breaks should see well overhead sets. While I can’t promise any shape at the beach breaks, the points and reefs should be solid and most people should be on the couch watching football most of the day!

For Friday morning we’ll see continued surf that will put the top West facing breaks in the head high to overhead range. The swell angle will continue to have more West in it than we’ve seen in quite some time. This energy, (280-290 degrees with 14-16 second intervals), will get into any beach with a peek at the West and should give at least a little love to select S/SW facing breaks.
