Thursday morning, THANKSGIVING, looks to be another weak day for waves, but at last we have some swell heading our way for Friday morning. It’s been what seems like an eternity, but yes, we will finally have waves, so you can work off some of Thursdays feast!

For Friday morning we’ll finally see some surf again. Some fresh NW energy should be in play for first light and put the top West facing breaks in the head high to overhead range. The swell angle will have more West in it than we’ve seen in quite some time. This energy, (280-290 degrees with 14-16 second intervals), will get into any beach with a peek at the West and should give at least a little love to select S/SW facing breaks.

Friday
2013-11-29 Fri 02:58 AM Moonrise
2013-11-29 Fri 06:03 AM 5.70 feet High Tide

2013-11-29 Fri 04:44 PM Sunset
2013-11-29 Fri 07:02 PM 3.87 feet High Tide

The conditions will remain pretty good with 4-8 MPH offshore winds until 11AM and 4-7 MPH breezes out of the West in the afternoon. Once again, there’s a 40% chance of rain and the air temp will remain low at 62 degrees.
