HURRICANE WATCH: Tropical Storm Nora is located about 990 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Maximum sustained winds are now near 65 mph.
This system will continue to strengthen over the next few days as it moves generally west-northwest. It may reach hurricane strength on Monday. The storm will likely curve northward during the first half of the week before it gets close to Hawaii, so it will have no direct impact on land.
There is also an area of disturbed weather well south of the south coast of Mexico. Further development of this system is possible in the coming days as it moves toward the west.
Monday should be pretty good with a SW swell a NW swell and some fresh, long interval SW swell that will fill in through the day.
Swell 1. SW with 14+ second intervals from a 200 degree angle.
Swell 2. NW with 12-14 second intervals from a 295 degree angle
*Swell 3. SW with 17-19 second intervals from a 220 degree angle, (will fill in through the day).
Plenty of waves out there my friends! Should be chest to shoulder to head high plus surf breaking everywhere! Obviously with multiple swell angles in the water some spots will pick up more swell than others! Happy Hunting!

The conditions look great with variable breezes out of the East in the 1-4 MPH zone until noon and mild 6-8 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp will be a toasty 88 degrees on the sand.
Tuesday looks like another pretty good day for waves as that SW swell from 220 degrees peaks in the morning with 16-18 second intervals and continues to pulse through the day. This should create chest to shoulder high plus sets for the better South facing beaches.
We’ll also see that NW energy be in play for the AM and slowly fade out through the day.

The conditions look fair with variable breezes in the 1-3 MPH zone until noon and 9-11 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp backs down to 85 degrees.
Wednesday should be another decent day for waves with a combination of swells in the water. We’ll have some 14-16 second interval swell out of the SW, from a liberal 220 degrees and some fresh, 12-14 second interval surf out of the NW from a 300-305 degree angle.
The top spots will see chest to shoulder high surf and with all of the different swells around I wouldn’t be surprised if some larger sets roll in on occasion!

The conditions look tolerable with onshore breezes in the 4-6 MPH zone until noon and 9-12 MPH out of the SW in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 81 degrees on the sand.
Thursday looks smaller as all energy backs down through the day. We should still see some waist to chest high sets with a few larger waves during the morning tide push.
