HURRICANE WATCH 10-25-13

Tropical Storm Raymond continues to remain over the open waters of the East Pacific. Raymond is located over 500 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and is tracking west-southwestward at about 8 mph. Raymond will likely slowly strengthen and become a weak Category 1 hurricane sometime over the weekend. Even so, it will not pose any threat to land.

Elsewhere across the East Pacific, tropical development is not expected over the next 24-48 hours.
