HURRICANE WATCH October 27, 2014 – The Eastern Pacific Basin remains quiet at this time. However, we are monitoring an area of showers and thunderstorms several hundred miles south-southwest of the Gulf of Tehuantepec for possible development. This could happen sometime tonight or Tuesday. The system is expected to move slowly to the west-northwest during the next couple of days and most likely would not affect any land areas during this time.
