HURRICANE WATCH October 27, 2014 – The Eastern Pacific Basin remains quiet at this time. However, we are monitoring an area of showers and thunderstorms several hundred miles south-southwest of the Gulf of Tehuantepec for possible development. This could happen sometime tonight or Tuesday. The system is expected to move slowly to the west-northwest during the next couple of days and most likely would not affect any land areas during this time.
For Tuesday morning the NW swell will be on the decline, but there still should be some waist high plus high sets rolling in at the best West facing breaks.
