SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 10-2-13
HURRICANE WATCH 10-2-13
Aside from a few clusters of showers and thunderstorms, there are no organized tropical features in the eastern Pacific. No development is likely for at least the next 24-48 hours.
Thursday morning will be another okay day for waves as that steep, NW wind swell continues to dish up waist high plus surf for the better West facing breaks.
We’ll also see a decent little burst of long interval, SW swell start to show late in the day. This will move in from a fairly liberal 195-200 degrees, with 16-18 second intervals. Top South facing breaks will see chest high sets by Friday morning.
