Thursday looks enticing as a fresh burst of stronger, longer interval SW swell fills in through the day. This swell will come in from a 200 degree angle with 16-18 second intervals and will combine and overlap with the smaller fading SW energy.

At 7:58 AM we’ll have a 4.84 feet High Tide which will definitely slow things down at most spots.

The top South facing breaks should see chest to shoulder high sets.

Thursday
2015-10-08 Thu 01:30 AM 0.58 feet Low Tide

2015-10-08 Thu 06:28 PM Sunset
2015-10-08 Thu 07:39 PM 4.98 feet High Tide

The conditions look fair with variable breezes in the 1-2 MPH zone until 10AM and 6-10 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp jumps up to a toasty 84 degrees.

Friday looks slightly better with more smallish, short interval, NW wind swell in the waist high zone and the aforementioned SW energy should be in full bloom with waist to chest high sets from an angle of 200 degrees.

We’ll also see some stronger, 17-19 second interval swell out of the SW fill in later in the day which will be in play for Saturday morning. The better South facing beaches should go chest to head high with places like the Wedge getting larger sets.

A high tide, slightly better than 5 feet will hurt some breaks and help others, but the swell will be pulsing through the day and with high pressure moving in it should be relatively clean all day.

Saturday looks even better with a myriad of swells in the water all out of the SW between 200-205 degrees. The better South facing breaks should see sets in chest to head high + zone. Tons of swell out there folks so just work around the high tide and smoking hot air temps. Looks like a good weekend!

Please don’t run over the guy in the orange hat! I finally made it back into the line up after a month of dry dock rehabbing a fractured rib!
