APP ISSUES: FYI – The app is shut down for the time being so just go the mobile site on your phones browser, it does exactly the same thing and you can enlarge the live stream with a pinch. The powers that be won’t let me update the APP and re-submit it because they insist it’s too similar to the mobile site…. F’N Apple store messing with me! Sorry for the interruption in service!

We’ll also see some steeply angled NW energy roll in from 305-310 degrees with 14-15 second intervals. This swell will work its way into the mix through the morning and add a little oomph to an otherwise fading swell.

For Sunday, “Mothers Day”, we’ll dip down into the waist high zone for the West facing breaks and a feeble knee to waist high for the South facing beaches. The better news is that we’ll see some more potent SW energy start to fill in later in the day. This new swell will march in from a 190-195 degree angle with muscley 17 second intervals.

For Monday morning we’ll see some that fresh SW energy for the AM with stout 16 second intervals from a 190-195 degree angle. The better spots in the OC and San O’ areas should see chest to possibly shoulder high sets. Most South facing breaks will top out at chest high.

We’ll still have some NW energy in the mix as well. The dying swell will continue dishing up waist high surf from that steep 305-310 degrees and 11-13 second intervals.

For Tuesday we’ll see continued energy out of the SW from the same angle and 14-16 second intervals. Same deal as Monday with chest high + sets for the better South facing breaks.

Also of note are 2 small, (1 foot deepwater), swells coming up the line from the SW. Although not large in terms of height, both swells should pack a punch.

Swell 1 – 215-220 degrees with 22-23 second intervals.

Swell 2 – 220 degrees with 20 second intervals.

With these two, combined with the main swell, there should be a few bonus waves offered up at the South facing beaches.
