SURF FORECAST UPDATED 11-8-12
______________________________________________________________________________

As you can see, we’ve redesigned the site and I hope you’re pleased with the new look and feel of it. There is a definite learning curve for the site management so please be patient as I get things up to speed over the next month or so. If you have any other suggestions on ways to improve swellmagnet, feel free to drop us an email Thx, the SM TEAM.

HURRICANE REPORT – No noteworthy Tropical activity going on right now.
______________________________________________________________________________

Friday morning will be bigger, but the main story line will be the winds. Top West facing breaks will see surf in the chest to shoulder high range and we’ll also have a meaty, little, 190 degree, SW swell in play. That energy will have 16-18 second intervals and should be good for chest high plus sets, (with a little pop to them). The winds may just kill it, but if you can find a sheltered spot it might be really fun. Strong onshores will haunt the coast both Friday and Saturday.

Friday
2012-11-09 Fri 01:37 AM Moonrise
2012-11-09 Fri 05:36 AM 5.08 feet High Tide

2012-11-09 Fri 05:45 PM 4.23 feet High Tide
2012-11-09 Fri 11:37 PM 1.11 feet Low Tide

The conditions will be poor with stiff Westerly winds in the 12-20 MPH ALL DAY long. There’s also a 10% chance of rain. Look for a high air temp of 61 degrees.

Saturday morning will see more of the same with a continued mish mash of swell, but once again, the onshore winds will take center stage. Find that kelpy, wind protected cove and you might get a little something, but I wouldn’t bank on it.

Saturday

2012-11-10 Sat 06:40 PM 4.38 feet High Tide

The conditions will not cooperate, with all day onshore breezes in the 10-25 MPH range and a 30% chance of rain. Look for a high air temp of 60 degrees.

Sunday morning will be smaller but the ocean should clean up dramatically. Top West facing breaks should see waist to chest high sets and the SW energy should be good for the same… just a bit less consistent as it fades out through the day.

Sunday

2012-11-11 Sun 03:48 AM Moonrise

The conditions will be much better with offshore winds, out of the NE, in the 6-12 MPH zone until noon and standard 8-12 MPH West winds in the afternoon. Look for a high air temp of 65 degrees.
