Good Afternoon from Troncones, MX and Manzanillo Bay
A week of mediocre conditions. Not great, not bad. Averaging waist to shoulder high. On the point, when it’s small like this it hugs a bit tight to the reef. Still workable, but not the usual form. Beach break is really where it is happening now, and with miles of beaches, sand bars and river mouths there is room for as many as we can get.
No one was out on the point. Beach break had a couple scattered groups of three to four, everyone picking a sand bar that worked for them.
Looking for a bump in the swell mid-week and maybe more on the coming weekend.
Air temperature in the upper 80′s to low 90’s and water temp is around 86. Afternoon thunderstorms have dies off to almost nothing as we wind out of the rainy season.
Sunrise is 6:45 and sunset 18:15. High tide at 7:06 and 2 ft.
Photos are from Punta Troncones.
