SURF REPORT for Troncones, Mexico Updated 9-14-14

Good Afternoon from Troncones, MX and Manzanillo Bay

Our newest passing hurricane, Odile, has not been as kind to us as the last one. Parking offshore for days it has done nothing but cause un-surfable conditions, beach erosion, heavy rains and occasional gale force winds. Now moving to the north, we should start seeing some improvement in both conditions and weather.

No one has been out with the exception of Playa Las Gatas in Zihuatanejo.

Forecast is showing thing starting to calm down and clean up in the coming days. I think maybe as early as tomorrow we will see a return of decent conditions.

Air temperature in the mid 90’s and water temp is around 87. Early morning clouds most days, then sun with scattered clouds building in the afternoon. Late afternoon and overnight thunder showers at times.

Sunrise is 7:35 and sunset 19:52. High tide at 08:28 and 2.2 ft.
