SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 2-11-13

For Tuesday morning that ground swell will hang in there and be good for chest to shoulder high plus sets early, and then taper off throughout the day. The better news is that some reinforcement energy will slide down the line, with 14-16 second intervals, from a 300 degree angle and catapult top West facing breaks into the head high plus zone. Once again there’s a nice little tide push for the early birds.

The conditions look pretty good with 3-7 MPH NE/NNE winds until noon. The West winds will get up to 10 MPH in the afternoon. We’ll see an air temp of 61 degrees.

For Wednesday morning the surf will take a slight dip in size but we should see some contestable, chest high plus waves through the morning. The tide looks favorable with another push through the morning.
