SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 6-30-13
Tropical Storm Dalila is churning across the Pacific off southwest Mexico, and authorities have issued a tropical storm warning for a large swath of coastline.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said the fourth tropical storm of the season formed early Sunday and is now centered about 240 miles (385 kilometers) southwest of Acapulco, Mexico. Dalila is moving north-northwest at 9 mph (15 kph), with top sustained winds of 40 mph (65 kph).
Mexico has issued a tropical storm warning for its Pacific coast region from north of Manzanillo to La Fortuna. A tropical storm watch is issued from north of La Fortuna to Cabo Corrientes.
Monday morning will be okay with inconsistent waist to chest high pulses out of the SW, (220 degrees), and waist high NW wind swell.

The conditions look fine with SE/SSE breezes in the 2-5 MPH zone until 10 and only increase up to 11 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp will remain get up to 78 degrees on the sand.
Tuesday morning looks even smaller with a mix of tiny SW and NW energy combining for waist high surf most everywhere.

The conditions look pretty good with variable breezes out of the East in the 1-3 MPH zone until 10 and only increase up to 10 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp will top out at 76 degrees.
For Wednesday morning will be reliant upon weak, inconsistent pulses out of the SW and small NW background swell. Top spots will wallow in the knee to waist high range.

The conditions should be okay with light and variable breezes, out of the West, in the 2-4 MPH range until 10AM and up to 13 MPH out of the West until sundown. The air temp will get up to 74 degrees.
For Thursday morning (the 4TH of JULY), will see no real improvement as all spots remain in the knee to waist high zone.

The current water temps Newport 69 degrees, Huntington 68 degrees, the South Bay showed as 67 degrees, Santa Monica 68 degrees and Malibu 60 degrees.
