By Wednesday morning we’ll start to see a series of NW swells start to roll in. Things will start off on the slow side early with waist high plus sets at first light, but the new energy will pulse in throughout the day with 12-14 second intervals from a Westerly 280-290 degree angle. The top spots should be head high plus by days end.

The conditions look a little iffy but should be okay for spots that can handle a SE wind. The models are calling for light E/SE winds in the 2-6 MPH range until 11AM and 8-10 MPH in the afternoon. There is a 20% chance of rain and the air temp tops out at 65 degrees.
By Thursday morning that same swell should be in full swing with shoulder to head high plus sets for the best West facing breaks. The angle will continue to have quite a bit of West in it with a 280-290 degree angle which in turn means that any spot with a peek at the West should see at least a little action.
The surf will really start to pour in after this so check back tomorrow for the long range forecast.
