HURRICANE WATCH: Hurricane Dolores rapidly strengthened on Wednesday morning to a Category 4 hurricane and has maximum sustained winds of 130 mph with gusts to 160 mph. The storm is located about 310 miles to the south of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and is tracking slowly away from the Mexican coast. Dolores will maintain its intensity or even slowly intensify over the next 24 hours. A combination of very warm water will provide excellent environmental conditions for intensification. Dolores will begin to weaken on Thursday as it moves over cooler waters.

Tropical Storm Enrique is centered about 1,500 miles west of the southern tip of Baja California and remains well away from any important land masses. Enrique is forecast to stay over warm water and strengthen further or maintain tropical storm status.

Stay tuned… we should be able to pinpoint swell angle and time of arrival by tomorrow!
