HURRICANE WATCH:Carlos es no bueno por las olas! Looks like this one will be another land hugging non swell producing storm!
Carlos weakened to a tropical storm Sunday morning as it continues to slowly edge closer to the Mexican coast. It was less than 75 miles south-southwest of Acapulco. Carlos has sustained winds now near 70 mph. For now, the worst impacts are offshore, but that will be changing. Carlos is expected to re-strengthen into a hurricane late Sunday or early Monday.
For Tuesday morning we’ll continue to be feed a steady diet of small, NW wind swell. It should bump a hair though with the best West facing breaks seeing waist high plus wind peaks.
Once again there will be a little tidal push through the morning.

The air temp leaps to a tropics like 79 degrees on the sand.
Thursday morning looks about the same with waist high plus, NW wind swell, from that same steep 310 degree angle for the better West facing beaches.
