SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 5-6-14
______________________________________________________________________________

SHARK UPDATE
5-5-14 Another Juvenile Great White Shark was spotted cruising through the line up at El Porto again on Monday. In addition I, (along with 2 others), witnessed a 6-7 foot GWS jump completely out of the water near 45th street. If you see anything noteworthy out there, feel free to send us an email with the details.

Tuesday morning will see more size as the 10-12 second wind swell is joined by some locally brewed wind swell from a steep 310 degrees. The best case scenario is that the top West facing breaks check in at chest to head high plus. The winds look very iffy though so definitely check the cams/reports before heading out.

Wednesday morning should see the swell hold, as short interval, steeply angled wind swell continues to be the featured player. The best West facing breaks will be in the shoulder to head high range and the conditions should improve a bit, (but will likely remain a bit jumbled).
