HURRICANE WATCH: Tropical Storm Oho remains south of Hawaii in the Central Pacific Basin but the only major impacts from the system will be rough surf, higher waves and rip currents, especially south- and east-facing beaches of the Big Island.
In the East Pacific, we continue to monitor an area for possible development. An area of weak low pressure about 1,000 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California. Gradual development is possible over the next few days as the system drifts off to the northeast.
Tuesday looks slightly better with more smallish, short interval, NW wind swell in the waist high zone and some fresh South swell with waist to chest high sets from an angle of 200 degrees.
