HURRICANE WATCH September 23rd, 2014 – Low pressure southwest of Acapulco, Mexico is moving west at about 10 mph. Thunderstorms continue to form near the low pressure area and the whole system continues to show signs of organization.

This area of disturbed weather could become the next tropical cyclone over the East Pacific later this week. Current computer projections of the system suggest a west-northwest movement parallel to but well off shore of the southwest coast of Mexico during the next several days.
