For Friday the surf will in the be OH to well OH zone, but expect confused, junky, choppy, wind swell, that mixes in with some fairly potent ground swell. The outer waters have been victimized by heavy winds and the buoys are a rockin’. There will be plenty of waves, but it will, in all likelihood, be pretty ugly, (one of my favorite oxymorons), out there.

The conditions don’t look as bad as they did on yesterdays model check. Some of the Northerly spots are even showing sporadic NNE winds for a couple hours in the morning. Definitely check the cams in the AM, Mother Nature doesn’t always follow the script. See for yourself below! The air temp tops out at 77 degrees.

For Saturday morning we have a shot at getting some good surf if the winds cooperate, (which is a major question mark according to the models). As of today, we’re anticipating all energy to back down, but the best West facing beaches will still have plenty of meat left on that bone with surf remaining in the head high to OH zone.

The conditions remain iffy at best, but the wind models have been flip flopping all week so stay on your toes. If conditions are decent the surf may be really good! The air temp tops out at 77 degrees.

By Monday some fresh NW energy will work its way into the fray. We should see chest high sets through morning and that should increase into the afternoon to possibly shoulder high + for the top spots. The angle of this swell will be a a fairly steep 295-305 degrees with 14-16 second intervals.
