SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 7-3-13
The storm late Tuesday had maximum sustained winds of 75 mph (120 kph). The storm is centered about 325 miles (523 kilometers) west-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico. It was drifting to the west near 2 mph (3 kph).
The government of Mexico has issued no storm warnings or watches for the coast. Little change in strength is expected over the next 48 hours.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami said swells generated by Dalila are affecting portions of the southwest coast of Mexico.
It’s heading toward colder water so it’ll be a wait and see scenario for now.
For Thursday morning (the 4TH of JULY), will see no real improvement as all spots remain in the knee to waist high zone.
